Hamburg-based novomind AG will be there when the K5 e-commerce trade fair celebrates its comeback and 10th anniversary after a two-year break.  The online retail summit will take place at ESTREL Berlin on 29 and 30 June and is expected to attract more than 5,000 visitors. The software experts from novomind will participate in the exhibition (Hall 1, Booth 19) and contribute to the program.

On the second day of the trade fair (30 June, 10 a.m.), novomind will provide insights into a pioneering, future-oriented project from the automotive industry: Data fuels Sales – How Volkswagen Is Digitalizing Automotive Sales. Patrick Krippendorf, Lead Product Manager in the VW Group, will talk about the transformation process within one of the world’s largest au-tomobile manufacturers. In addition to electromobility and mobile driving, it focuses in particular on digitalization. Not only the vehicle is going digital, but all business processes are undergo-ing a paradigm shift. Data are at the center and must therefore be managed intelligently and efficiently. The novomind iPIM product data information management system is the central engine within this process. The presentation shows what this means and where the chosen path leads.
