The Peek & Cloppenburg Group, Hamburg operates department stores in 6 European countries and effectively combines physical and online shops into an integrated shopping concept. The VANGRAAF.COM online shops have now been redesigned from scratch and were relaunched with a new look on 24 August. The new online shops are based on software solutions from novomind for further e-commerce growth supported by a new shop system and enterprise product data management.
novomind iSHOP replaces the existing shop system on all clients. Together with the novomind PIM product information management system, the flexible high-performance SaaS commerce solution ensures higher efficiency and improved performance for a greater boost to the online business. It also makes it easier for the shop managers to manage the shop content.

Besides a new, clear design, the new shop offers numerous omni-channel features – it is possible to check whether a given product is available in the store, the click & collect function permits to have purchases delivered to the preferred store for collection or to return online purchases at a nearby store. The customer card is integrated into the web shop and users may continue to use their voucher card for online purchases. And the responsive design ensures a perfect presentation on all mobile devices.

The product data supply via novomind iPIM was introduced at the same time for maximum efficiency - the extremely powerful PIM system ensures that data is quickly and reliably exported to the online shop. Finally, novomind iVIEW is used for the delivery of product images to give the shop that special visual appeal on the product side.
The project took only close to ten months up to the go-live.
